Why must we hate everyone

I am getting really tired of all the hatred in the world. Not just the hatred, but more the inability to accept that people are different from you and move on. How many times do you look at a conversation on social media and see people attacking people who believe differently than them about the fact that they believe differently. You have conservatives saying all liberals are bleeding heart snowflakes who need to suck it up and deal. You have liberals saying all conservatives are heartless jerks who don't care about anyone below them. You have Atheists saying that all religious people are brainwashed sheeple who are trying to destroy science. You have religious people saying that all Atheists are evil and are trying to plunge the world into immorality. You have every religion claiming every other religion was created by their version of evil to distract you from the truth.
Everywhere you look you have one person hating on another without even taking the time to get to know them or what they are about. No one takes the time to learn to relate to others and just accept that they are different, and that's not always a bad thing. Everyone different from you is now the boy from the wrong side of the tracks you're not allowed to take to the prom. Everyone different from you is now that one cousin who you hate and always find a way to humiliate at family gatherings. Everyone different from you is now the epitome of everything that is wrong with this world in your eyes and therefore must be converted to your way of thinking. When everyone who is different from you is the enemy, then who are your allies? I'm not asking about your friends who are just like you, I mean those who are different but still can be relied on? Every country in the world has allies who are completely different from them but can still be counted on. Yet we as individual humans don't seem to be able to have that anymore. We shut out everyone who is different till we are living in an echo chamber of our own making unable to see the outside world or tell if maybe we are wrong or have taken things too far.
So what do I think we should do? I think we need to stop being so against everyone who is different from us and learn to love them despite/for the differences. We need to learn to be able to accept the fact that they are different and take it one step further and celebrate our differences. There is NOTHING wrong with being different, however there is EVERYTHING wrong with hating someone for it.
We are living in a world where everyone screams for peace and understanding, but ONLY if you are willing to become just like them, if you aren't, then damn you straight to hell for being yourself. We live in a world where being who we are, being an individual is only okay as long as who you are fits inside of everyone else's vision of how you should be. We live in a world where we hate on everyone for being different while we strive not to just fit in. We live in a world where we are told to be individuals and think for ourselves, and then when we do we are told we are wrong and we need to conform. We live in a world where everything we are taught about being an individual growing up is ripped from us as we get older by those who couldn't make it happen for themselves. We live in a world where to be an outsider is both celebrated and discouraged AT THE EXACT SAME TIME.
We need to learn to get along, we need to learn to accept differences, we need to learn to welcome others as they are, or we are all going to kill each other.
