Are you aware, that even though there are differences biologically between Men and Women, neither are biologically inferior to the other?
Are you aware, that even though the physiology of Men and Women are different, neither one is superior to the other?
Are you aware, that even though Men and Women serve different purposes for reproduction, both are just as necessary for life to continue?
Are you aware, that although throughout most of history Men have been superior to Women, they actually aren't?
Are you aware, that despite so many cultures and religions telling you otherwise, Men and Women should be equal partners in everything?
I ask if you are aware, and yet this world is proving that apparently most of you AREN'T aware of that. We have no women on the congressional counsel for women's health and rights. We also don't allow men to have time off when they have a baby. We still tell women to submit to their husbands in wedding vows and make them swear it in front of witnesses. We tell men they aren't allowed to be anything but masculine without being looked down on. We teach girls that the boy hitting them and being mean to them just has a crush on them and they need to accept it. We teach boys that crying is a sign of weakness and bully them into stopping. We teach children that certain colors are for certain genders and if you wear the wrong ones you will look weird. We hold the male genitalia as the giver of life and yet the woman's body does 90% of the work, men just start the process. We make almost every product you can think of in two variations, one for women and one for men, even though usually they are the exact same thing in a different color. We call fruit flavored alcoholic drinks girly drinks and make fun of men who drink them, even though they have a higher alcohol content usually.
Our entire culture on this planet is built towards knocking women down a peg to being less than men. We build men up to be the alpha predator and put any down who aren't. We have everything built so that males are to be strong and wise, and females are to be frail and comforting. Heck even the terms we use to describe gender are based off this concept, Male and Female, Men and Women, Man and Woman, they are all built so that you can't have the second without the first.
You might not believe me that this is a problem, but you can't prove anything I wrote above as wrong, and that right there should be proof enough that things need to change.
