So tired of Hatred

When is it okay to hate someone? In my opinion, never. However, when you are up against people who do have hatred, you are more than welcome to be disgusted by them. You are more than welcome to demonstrate against them. You are more than welcome to let them know just how much hatred is wrong. Just, try not to let your hatred for them equal or surpass thier hatred for them, otherwise you are just fueling thier hatred even more.

Does it suck, very much so. Is it hard to hear this coming from a cis white hetero male who has never known what it's like to be hated like everyone who isn't a cis white hetero male, yes.

We are living in a country that is living proof that the more you push against hatred, the more it pushes back. This country is proving every single day that the more you push hatred at those who hate you, the more they dig in on thier hatred. It sucks, but it's true.

Do I have an answer, no. Do I know how to combat hatred any better, not really. However this country is proving that hatred feeds on hatred and I am so very tired of seeing things go so far backwards.

If you are reading this, and you think less of anyone for not being cis, white, hetero, or male, then you are part of the problem. If you are a Christian and you have hatred in you towards them, you go against Christ's own words. Ignore the old testament, Christ lived and died so that we didn't have to live by those laws. Read his words, read the "red letters" and tell me if anything that christians are doing to discriminate against anyone unlike them is something Christ himself would be proud of them for.

Christians started the war on the rest of the world, and are now pissed that people are fighting back. It's the same as white people pushing their assumed dominance on the rest of the races and getting mad they are fight back. It's the same as Men pushing their assumed dominance on women and getting mad they are fighting back. It's the same as straight people pushing their assumed dominance over homo/bi/etc sexuals and getting mad they are fighting back.

When you spend your time telling everyone else they are less than you and that they need to follow your way or else, they will eventually rise up and push back. Sucks no longer being the big kid on the block and having everyone bow before you. Now that you are getting a taste of your own medicine all of a sudden it's a war against you, and you were doing nothing wrong.

I am aware I am pissing off a lot of people while writing this, but nothing I have written is wrong. If you read this and side with those who hate, you are in the wrong. There is no war on Christmas, Fox News is propaganda, Seed faith is evil, and popular Christianity in it's current form is going backwards. Instead of further and further acceptance of the world, and learning from past mistakes, they are buckling in and digging thier heads further and further in the sand.

As with all current religions, the more the world disproves thier stories and teachings, the harder they cling to them and the more they stick thier fingers in their ears and scream, "we're not listening".

Discrimination is wrong, hatred is wrong, defending hatred is wrong, refusing to acknowledge the wrong doings of those who hate is wrong. You have turned your religion into an idol, you have turned your president into a scapegoat, you have turned the holy sacred teachings of your religions into a shield that protects you from the harsh reality that you're filled with hatred and loathing for anything different from you, and that's WRONG.
